Description
Bullnose Brace and Screw Set – Pack of 6 X braces (slider on one side of the brace to allow for expansion and contraction) & square drive screws to secure the bullnose edge of your bullnosed composite decking board.
To secure the bullnosed edge of your composite bullnose board to the face of your decking subframe.
Mark out where your braces should go, allowing enough of an overhang for your fascia boards. We recommend you space the braces around every 500 to 600 mm. If you have mitred your boards at the ends to make a corner, ensure you secure extra braces as far to the edge ends as possible. Use two of the shorter screws, on the side of the brace that has two holes in, to secure the brace to the composite board. Flip the board over into position and use one of the longer screws through the slider hole (oval shape hole) into the subframe face. The slider hole is to allow the composite boards to expand and contract so screw in enough to secure the board but not too tightly.
